I can't check the TSC AW46 oil specs because it won't let me access the TSC website but seeing the AW46, tells me it might be just hydraulic oil.

You want universal tractor transmission oil, also called UTTO, since your tractor has wet brakes. This oil has the necessary additives for wet clutches and wet brakes, which straight hydraulic oil has not.

The operators manual calls for the Texaco TDH oil which is a tractor transmission oil.

These are the specs posted for the Universal TSC Fluid - not the ISO 46 Hyd Fluid,

Traveller 5 gal. Premium Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid is designed with modern farm equipment in mind. Oh that's better. Thanks for the info. I just get "Access denied" every time I try to access the TSC website.

Yes, just done at 350 but I have to repair an o ring and may lose lots of fluid.
The o ring is on dipstick mount, 2 o rings.
Sorry didn't make myself clear, Manual says TDH 1893 but I read that that AW 46 or Mobile 424 replaces it.
I'm using JC20 to top off which I use on my small Kubota.
Bottom line is which hydro fluid is best for Branson 2400H? Thx

I'm confused - if the dealer just did the major service at 350 or so hours - why do it again so soon? Is the hyd fluid milky or discolored, or smell burnt? The same with the engine oil - no need to change it so soon.

If manual says AW 46 Trans fluid, then get the TSC $50 for 5 gal. For engine oil I use the Rotella 15-40.

For the Kukje A1100N2 engine in your machine the search on TBN is a great tool - check this thread.. Oil & Fuel - TYM T264 50 Hour Cross Reference Parts
Why does Hansen Equipment say NEVER USE AW FLUID in his post?

Why does Hansen Equipment say NEVER USE AW FLUID in his post?
OIL We run 15w40 cj4,ci4 and newer ck4. Hyd/Hst we sell gulf transcrest, this is a UTF/MTF oil. A good high spec to look for is JD20c or Kubota UDT Never use a AW or the out dated 303. Front axle 80W90. Hope this helps and enjoy your new tractor.
