My wife said when they were kids they kept rabbits. Her father used to put the manure under some little seedling pines they had on a property line... She said the tree shot up like corn....

I had heard glowing reviews of rabbit manure at one point so when I had a chance to pick up a load I did. But I guess the final verdict will be in the end results as I've heard some say it's the only manure you can apply fairly "green" while others say you should store it for quite a while. Similar varied testimonies as to its overall effectiveness.

Perhaps I'll do some tests and apply it to some plants and not others in the same row to see if there's any noticeable difference.

Well Chris, that should tell ya something, the Pines where trying to get away from the rabbit poo!!
I dont know why rabbit poo wouldn't be any good, never even thought about it and I had rabbits at one time
:confused3: But I bet it would take a good amount, I doubt it would be as strong as say chicken manure, but I'm no connoisseur (I gotta know the cook before I try sumthin):thumbsup:

Chicken manure works well because urea is manure. Birds are single waste stream unlike amimals like cows at pee and poop separately....

Chris, I know brother, I was funn'in you. Just not familiar with using rabbit pellets, It would seem to me that it would be more like a great, biodegradable "mulch".
