I don't look at other machines loader specs, but I certainly wouldn't be lifting 2-3k lbs with a 30hp tractor. My 40hp tractor lists the following specs:

Loader lift capacity at pins 1720 lbs (full height)
Loader lift capacity 500mm (20”) forward 1292 lbs (full height)
Loader lift capacity at pins 2202 lbs (1.5m height)
Loader lift capacity 500mm (20”) forward 1766 lbs (1.5m height)

The "at pin" specs are marketing numbers. I go by 500mm forward of the pins to 1.5m for mine. Even that number is unrealistic for daily use.

That's good, but really no more relevant than looking at the lift capacity of Hay Dude's monsters. The comparison was a 33 hp Deere 3033R, not a machine with literally 35% more horsepower and weight.
Guess I didn't pay enough attention to the details. Thought it was about small tractors. Wifey thinks the 4240 is a Garden Tractor

Exactly. To get near 3k lift capacity, you're going to be looking at 50 hp machines, not 30 hp machines. No matter what the brand.

Your post said CUT. A 50 HP machine is a CUT. That notwithstanding, here some quick ones that are lower HP and still lift over 2k.

Here's the data on a 2515.

And an LS MT3 35H

No, at the pins are looking at the loaders consistently. Otherwise you start comparing apples and oranges with random distances from the pins. It not as much about the number as it is about comparable data.

A loader that lifts 20% more at the pins than its competitor, will lift ~20% more equidistant from the pins. How much it can lift at different heights will change based on the arm geometry. That is why the best number for comparing relative lift ability is at the pins and to max height. (Better if you could get them to the same height, but luck with that.)

Kioti DK series has a 39 HP tractor with this loader...specs too big for image...link provided.

My M6040, like many other tractors, has two lift settings for the FEL. Heavy lift - high lift. I wonder how many of us really lift max load to max height. I know I certainly do not. Out here in the open range land it just too easy to become involved in an accident if you try.

Lately I've been using the term - open range land to describe my property and surrounding area. It's also called the Scab rock area. Both apply - but I like open range land better.

I DO lift max load to minimum height. I call it "knuckle dragging". Large chunk of pine tree trunk or large rock. Lifted just high enough so the grapple clears the ground. Actually - many times the grapple will leave knuckle drag marks in the dirt as I move the load. Even at that - I move with GREAT care and awareness.

I understand how the literature on tractor/FEL abilities can be used to boost the apparent performance. Many newbies have no clue.

JMHO - if you are buying a tractor and will be lifting heavy loads to or near max heights. Do everything you can to reduce the dangers. And for goodness sake - read your tractor owners manual and your FEL owners manual - with understanding.

If I routinely lifted heavy loads to maximum heights I would make darned sure I had a tractor heavy enough to handle it, and also level ground to work on. As Oosik stated I sometimes approach the maximum capacity of my loader, usually when loading logs onto the sawmill. They are always kept just high enough to keep from dragging until I get to the mill. Then I raise it just enough to roll the log on manually.
