Interesting that you need the structure inspected if it is not permanent. Good job doing it right.

yah... At first had no intention of asking, but sense of responsibility won out. Called him told him what was up and he said " need to check cause of the horse" Once in his office he had me , got my check and I got a permit and his anchor requirement..I do 'try and do the right thing for the right reason'. Whats done is done.

Did you compact the crushed stone at all? The pipe frame is new to me, are those fencing pipes? Or is it a kit ready to go up. It would be great to see the joint in detail, if possible:)

Thanks!
hi Prokop , Will have to take pictures tomorrow and post for you, tuesday evenings I spend with my 84 year old dad. won't get back til dark.

Gravel was compacted by driving over and over and over.....the frame is a kit will post more info later.

I'm feeling more positive about getting emmett ( the arabian) here soon seeing I got the roof on..Just hope the much better half keeps her word and does most of the horse takincareof duties...:D I really think I should be doing tractor work, am I right?

.......................................... We started with the frame. 3/8" bolts+nuts. Loosely put together. Two people with tape measure to square it up.(one two stall section at a time) lay out joining pipes to space out sections, then do the other two stall section. Pretty easy really, just time consuming.
Then cut 2x4's to fit, follow directions, drill corresponding holes and bolt 2x4 to frame tabs.

Yesterday was a wash, a real wash, rained all day, at times it really came down. Was suppose to rain today, but it was partly sunny and got a little more accomplished ( not a whole lot though-had other things planned ) used 1x12 pine, rough side out (cheap, see title of thread) was going to use T1-11 till I got a price  and this is as far as I got before had to clean up and get to appointment.
..............I like this look much better than the T1-11 look so am glad I went with the rough pine. will try and do a little this week, the weather is iffy though, forecast is showers all week.. we'll see..gonna stain it and waterproof as I get a side done ..optimism .
