Bush-hog for L2050

I bought a L2050 4wd in December, it has about 27 HP. Now I'm looking to buy a bushhog. Would a 5 ft. bushhog be too big for this tractor, if I'm cutting mostly tall thick grass? Thanks for your help.

According to Tractor Data, the L2050 has 25 engine HP and 20 PTO HP. That is really less than what you want for running a 5' hog. It would run a 4' real well. If your not cutting a bunch of brush and saplings... the 5' would work but you might find yourself going pretty slow.

I bought a L2050 in 1988 and ran a 5' KK on it for almost 10 years. Add 4 or 5 weights on the front.
