"Good luck and stay out of the brush.... it is a tractor, not a bulldozer!!!!!"

Well sometimes you get carried away with these little bulldawgs!
But I did check and double check these boots and there is no leakage of grease and no (zerks) fittings near. These boots (on the front suspension) just appear to cover the pivot points (for the lack of a better term). And the boots on the drive line that turns the hydro cooling fan just appear to be helping keep the dust out of critical areas. Nonetheless, I will err on the side of caution and talk to my dealer about this.
Thanks junkman and if anyone else has an idea about these boots and their purpose, please let me know.

I just changed a similar-looking boot on my B2910 steering linkage, but it was on a ball joint that at the end of the pitman arm (think that is what it is called) where the drag (?) link connects.

That ball joint was also sealed with no grease fitting. I think the boot helps keep dirt from getting in there between the ball joint and the socket, where it might somehow get squeezed and forced inside the ball joint to do damage.

Yeah, it sounds like we have the same situation. Was that hard to do?

I have rips in my Dust Boots also. I haven't checked the rear, but the fronts are not quite as ripped as yours. I'll have to crawl under and look. Thanks for the pictures. And I agree with you, it is easy to damage them when using the machine.

I have had problems with my CV joint boot cracking on my cars. The last time this happened, I was able to get a two piece boot so that the CV wouldn't need to be replaced. I wonder if anyone makes a two piece dust boot for these tractors? With only 6" of ground clearance on the BX, it is only time before they get ripped! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
