Paynesforks.com - Clamp On Hitch Receiver
Be careful it does wiggle around a bit, I will eventuall pin it or something if I continue to use it.

"Honey, we need a bigger tractor, I just cant pull the boat out with that small little BX......"

alchemysa said:Sorry to disagree but the weight on the back is not 'good.' In fact I think its pretty obvious from the pics and the bend in the bucket that its very bad. especially when you are facing down hill like you are in the pics. I've got a tractor bigger than yours, with a backhoe, and it loses rear wheel traction when its just pushing into a pile of dirt with an empty bucket. You are trying to reverse uphill with the weight of a boat on your bucket! The back wheels are spinning because they have no weight on them. (By the look of it they are not even digging in.) The fronts are spinning because they are too small for sand. You have to turn it around. I don't care if you build a concrete slab under the tractor, you are not going to pull the boat out like this. Letting air out of the tyres won't help either.
Turn the tractor around. Get some weight on the back wheels. Back it in a bit further to break the trailer out of its hole if necessary . Then come out as fast as possible. (At an angle if necessary). If that still doesn't work, THEN you can resort to all those other creative suggestions.
I'm outa here now. Said my bit. Good luck.

put someone in the boat and start it and use it's motor to help put it out
Anders said:I don't know if the boat is still out there, but here's my take on it:
1: If you really want to use the fel to pull out, find a big rock to carry with the backhoe. You do have some kind of grapple on it, or is it just my eyes seeing things that are not there? Then fill fel with stones around the hitch. You will benefit from adding weight.
2: I guess this is my take on it, but I haven't been in your shoes, so what do I know...
Turn tractor. Keep backhoe on. Find a big rock to put in the Fel. And I mean as heavy as it can lift. Use wire or chain and attatch at the very bottom of the backhoe, deep down below any cylinders.
Weight is the key. Or at least that is what I'm thinking from sitting here looking at your pictures.
It might also very well be that the title of this tread is the truth about this.
Nice place, boat and tractor! I hope you get to use all of them.

I don't want to attach it to rear (it's not free, I'd have to buy a hitch). I'll be REMOVING a lot of weight which I think is needed. Front wheels then will have no traction and are needed. I'll also have to back it quite a bit further in and there are vents etc. down there and I don't want to start sucking in water. So yes it may put more traction on big wheels but will cause other issues if I turn it around.
