Cmon guys you are making this way too complicated. Just turn the tractor around and let it work like its supposed to. Theres clearly not enough weight on the big tyres at the moment.

Local campground guy uses 16hp PowerKing to move all the campers around which weigh far more than you have, so it is possible.

Tire pressure! let some air out and it will gain traction. Hard/stiff tires gain little traction in sand, while soft tires bite better.

Clearly you don't get it.

OK another wonderful idea. How about a couple used snowmobile tracks around 11' long. Can usually be found cheap at a dealer or free at the town dump. I'm thinking these for the trailer tires but they might also work on the beach.

Rolling something around on a solid surface is a little different going up hill in sand (tractor and load).

And folks are correct the trailer tires are probably a couple inches into sand which is a huge amount of inertia (because it needs to lift the boat up).

I'd get the boat off the trailer and move the trailer to unbury the wheels. Can you pull the trailer at an angle to the beach? Hook chain or cable to the tongue and the tractor. Fashion something to float the tongue and chain so the tongue wheel doesn't drag. Pull boat and trailer out at an angle rather than straight up the beach. Run the tractor on what ever traction improving device you come up with. When the tongue wheel hits the sand, remove the chain, reposition the traction device, hook it up and keep your fingers crossed. The closer you can get to parallel with the water, the easier it would be. Be careful about pulling with the hitch ball if the trailer tires get good and stuck. It's unlikely, but the bolt holding the ball on could shear. They're not meant for recovery work.

Don't I? Then perhaps you could explain the problem. Youve posted two pictures but havent actually explained whats going wrong. I'm guessing, when you try to reverse, your back wheels spin uselessly, and your little front wheel is perhaps digging itself into a hole. My guess is youve got a ton of weight on those little tyres but nothing on the rears.

Do you have a Box Blade that the backhoe can pickup to add more weight to the rear tires... or some other thing that's heavy? Or lay down some plywood on the beach?
