I surely doubt that the hydraulic pump is taxing the engine to run the hoe even with larger flow I don't think it would matter to the engine. 23 HP would drive a large hydraulic pump without overloading the engine. I don't even hear the RPM change at all on my B26 when using the hoe or FEL so I don't think it is using a lot of power to run it.Im not saying the 23hp needs more power but I wonder why the 2670 has the bigger engine. Dosent have a backhoe. I would just think the 25 would need the extra power for the hoe..
As others have said, why do you need more power if you can spin all 4 wheels. My B26 weighs almost 3 times as much as the BX and gets along fine with 26 HP engine
