I don't remember but when I did some calculations I believe it was around ~500

thanks zick great idea i have some left over golf tubes from a
rod tip divider in my boat if i can get them in there it might make
a tool holder also.

Guessing this makes a big difference when using your front end loader?? Also how is the tip factor when driving off camber?? Thinking of doing something similar....

Big difference when maxing out the loader! Usually my rear comes off the ground long before I get the max weight in the bucket, but w/ the ballast that problem is gone.
Not sure about the tip factor as my land is pretty flat.

A more manuverable counterbalance with a lower center of gravity could be a good thing.

On my little BX1500, I have a heavy duty 4' Box Blade that works very well for a counterbalance. It works better as a counterbalance than it does a box blade. The turf tires can't get enough traction to scrape much...

Replace them with ag tires.
I have ag tires on the BX23 and 1 of the BX1500s.
The other BX1500 has turfs but I just use it mainly for mowing.
