My mistake, Monty. Somewhere I got the idea you were getting an FEL. Rereading, I see it's the FEL hydraulics you got. In that case: Hello, Dolly! :D

I unfortunately. Barn floor is dirt, so no help there.

Piece of plywood might make a removal floor

Since I only have to remove the mower once a year for lubing, sharpening etc. I will use the driveaway.

What do you mean by dump trailer. You need the DUMP TRUCK and that is the RTV.

David Kb7uns

Hmmm. RTV???? Sounds interesting. Is it a Kubota?

Those are sweet...I was trying to get work to buy one of those. Instead they bought a Kawisaki Mule and it doesn't cut it for our use.

So now I am trying to get my ATV club to buy one for trail maint....

Have you thought about paving a small portion of the barn floor with asphalt? You don't even have to get the tractor on the asphalt for 3ph implements, you only need enough surface area for the dollies plus enough to move them around a little. You can back the 3ph up to the edge of the pavement and roll the implement to the 3ph. For an MMM, you would need surface area for the tractor on the Tarmac, however. Asphalt is considerably cheaper than concrete (though that could change with the cost of petroleum going up). Thing is, you need to bring a roller and boiler in and a contractor's minimum sized job might be bigger than you need. That put's you back at concrete. If anybody close to you ever has their driveway asphalted, or road work is subbed out to a private company doing repairs in your area, you might ask whether they'd consider a small job for you since the equipment is already close at hand.

The area for the tractors is long but not wide. Most of the barn is 6 horse stalls. Even if I asphalted or made a concrete floor, I wouldn't have the lateral room to move things around. We only have one horse left (he's 32 and an old buddy) but after he passes on, I may transform the barn, take out the stalls and floor the hole thing. For now not having to screw around with removing MMMs and FEL/BH is a blessing. And having a freed up 3 pt. hitch is a welcome benefit.

This is exactly why I bought the 2 BX1500s to go with the BX23.
