BX2200 or B7500HST

Will, if you have a 2410 I am jealous. I am sure it will be a great unit. I prefer suspended type mower decks mainly because there is not another set of wheels riding on my lawn.
The 7500 I tried out was virtually new and the wheels on the deck rutted the ground and chattered. They also showed unusual wear. I bet it could have been adjusted/repaired but I became convinced the BX was closer to what we wanted--I am certain that had I kept the 7500 I would have figured out a way to make it do what I wanted.
Anyway, good luck with your new toy (working machine).
God Bless America and all the world's peoples. J

Actually 9 gauge is heavier than 9.5 gauge. Just like a 12 gauge shotgun is bigger than a 20 gauge. I just wish my 7500 had the cup holder :(

Opiekanopi,

I think that's what he meant, the 60" MMM on the BX is 9ga.
Or did I miss the point? I any case they are both fine
machines.

b 7500 is a small tractor. bx2200 is a large lawn mower with some tractor features . it sounds like you have a large enough place for the tractor. i work on these things for a living , take the 7500 for a better tractor and about the same$$$$$

Mr Fixit

Just got the b7500 hsd delivered. As you are the expert, what advice can you give me in terms of things not to do? I'm new to tractor and want to make sure I don't do anything stupid to ruin something. Have you got a list of "most common mistakes" made by newbies like me that you end up having to fix?

Sure would appreciate your advice.

Hey Mr Fixit - I think that those are misleading comments.

Granted, the BX is smaller - but that is one of its advantages in many ways. I would definitely describe it as a scaled down tractor though - not a scaled up lawnmower - and that's coming from an engineer. Why else would the all the basic systems on the tractor be over-engineered?

The BX is ideal for people like me that do have to cut the grass every week -- but also have a reasonable list of tractor type work to get done in addition. OK - so I wouldn't buy one if I was running a dairy farm or a cattle ranch - but for the jobs I have it's ideal.

My point - size up the jobs at hand - and buy the tractor to fit the needs. I guess by the sales numbers the BX hit a whole bunch of us with just the right combination of price and features.

That sure is a big ol' rock. Is it hard to PUSH with that chain?

I like your "carry all". I have a box scraper that I use as a tool tote.

From the photo it looks like the chain is connected to the carry all which is mounted to the 3 pt hitch. Maybe it did not apply in your case, but all of us should remember to pull heavy loads from the drawbar.

Heavy loads like rocks and stumps etc, attached to the 3 pt hitch can easily flip ANY tractor over backward.

We ARE all in this together. We love to laugh with one another. But let's not have us cry over one of us...
