We have a BX24 and about 10 hours of work after disconnecting the backhoe, it blew the hydraulic filter. It was replaced and it happened twice more. We just changed the pressure relief valve and are waiting on a gauge to test. Anyone have any insight on this matter and are we missing something?

does this unit need to be plugged back into the 3 point for the return?, you didn't leave all the hoses disconnected did you?
Yes it was. It seems like there is too much pressure. My brother took out the relief valve and it had no shims and he put 4 back in. We will test when gauge arrives tomorrow.

Is there still on old gasket on the mounting surface by any chance? Were the filters tightened to spec?

Is there a screen in the hydraulic system? I had a BX several years ago and can’t remember. Edit, it does look there is a screen. Did you clean it?

Cheap aftermarket filters or genuine Kubota fikters? You realize there is internal pressure on the hydraulic filter?
