Older threads show a two piece fan that a member made... slick as could be but no interest in going into production.
Kubota BX22 that was left to me by a dear friend. B7300 w/MMM
T Seabee, I had to replace the HST fan on my BX22. I did not have to move the engine only remove the floor pan and fenders. Unbolted the shaft from the fan hub and it came up and away so I could remove the fan hub. While it was torn down I replaced both CV joints on the shaft since the boots were long gone.
If I'm not mistaken, on the bx2200, bx22 and bx23 the HST fans can be replaced with out unbolting and sliding the engine. The design changed on the BX24.
My advice to anyone with any of these BX tractors is, If you don't keep the MMM on all the time or don't have a MMM like me, INVEST in BroTek plates or Bxpanded Under Armor. I went with Bxpanded under armor and am totally pleased with it.
I just got mine done. Pulled pan. Pulled fenders. Pulled engine forward. Fixed fan. Replaced everything Good thing is I found a leake that I could get to and fix.
How to reach BX25 owners and tell them I have a Kubota thumb that was attached and never used off my sold BX25 that needs a new home for cash or trade. I'd rather have a post hole digger for my B2650.?
