Ok, Long story short. My tractor is in the shop now. It has been there for 7 weeks now.... They are trying to fix it and said they would take 5k and trade in my 09 for a new 10 bx25... I laughed and said how much for a MMM for it. They say they will have it fixed by the 2 month mark... I doubt it. They want $1800 for the 60" non fine cut mmm. This sounds so high??? Is it worth it? Thanks for the info.

They list for close to 2000.00 if I am not mistaken.
Well, I some how cracked the transfer case. They ordered all the parts got it back together and then the PTO does not turn. Every week for the past three weeks they say we should have it done by the end of the week... Yet it is never done. At the end of this week it will be 2 months. What is a fair amount of time to expect to get it back? This is my first tractor.

Yeah that price for a MMM is not bad. As far as them getting it fixed, its a busy time of the year for tractor dealers, even more so if they sell and repair a lot of ag tractors. My guess is they haven't worked on it for two months straight, if they have, you could have bought a new tractor 2 or 3 time over. Its a matter of they don't know how to fix it, or most likely they are just working on it when they have free time. There is a chance they screwed up when they put it back together, and that is why the PTO isn't working. They maybe looking at it as a money loser and are not motivated to get it going again.

Dealer cost is ~$1,550... So 1800 isn't bad when being purchased separately.
