Though I think you could do most of what you plan with a BX, it would be harder on the machine, and your nerves to do it. I would look hard at getting a larger machine without the backhoe for the same price. You will be surprised what you can get size wise for that difference. I had the backhoe on my BX22, and I do miss having it sometimes, but I am also constantly surprised at what I can get done without it. Tree stumps are difficult for any machine, and hard on it too. I would clear an aea, get out what I could, and then rent a mini excavator, etc. to pull the stumps with all at once. After you have done much of this work, you might find that a BX would be perfect to maintain it, or you might find that you want even more tractor to do more on your land. You have a wonderfully sized "playground" there, and I hope you spend many happy hours leaving your mark, and improving it.
They could not tell me why these problems happened and said that it was not because of what I was doing with it. They said that it is rated to handle everything it can pick up and move, and was sorry for the problems and fixed them even when out of warrenty. The front end was seeping and I was just going to put gear oil into it to slow it down but they fixed it also when they saw it leaking while they were waiting for the new tranny. What great service. And what can I say I use my machines. That is what I spent the money on it for.
