BX25D rolls some after letting off? No ....to brake on left

I had a situation with my BX2350 where it would creep forward even though the pedal was definitely in the neutral position. The WSM has a procedure for making an adjustment to the transaxle. This adjustment involved jacking the rear tires off the ground and turning an adjusting bolt on the right side of the transaxle. If I recall, you could make the tires begin to spin in either direction depending on how you adjusted it.

I am almost positive I know what is wrong and how to fix it - or have dealer address it. But since I don't have a BX 25D (oh, and with brake on the left and digital dash) I am not qualified to post that info here...

John, you're right, if it continues to roll then you have a problem. Mine stops, but might very slowly creep forward after that. A slight pull with my toe on the back of the pedal centers it perfectly, but as I said earlier, it's loosened up some now. I almost never use the brake pedal, except in really tight situations, like loading something onto the trailer, etc. I have owned and operated lots of tractors and excavating equipment, and all of the HST machines stopped when released. I'd call Barlows. Please let us know what the outcome is.

Dragoneggs says his doesn't roll on after pedal released....hummmm.
JT, my humble apologies. I fired her up this morning, first to confirm my comments about no roll after pedal release and second to load my garbage and recycle into the back of my truck. I have to revise my response! She does indeed roll a bit... a foot or so. She also is not jerking to a stop as I recall when new if I am in rabbit gear. So... I am either losing my mind or she has loosened up a bit. I suppose it could be both! :D I do recall her stopping abruptly in high gear before but I can't replicate that. Now she is cold as it is just above freezing and no warm up. I will check again after letting her warm up just to be sure. She does stay put without the need for the brake though.

As for the digital dash... fuel, temp, and hrs are LCD, RPMs is old needle style. BTW... just hit 215hrs! Haven't been on her in a couple months and she started right up. I keep a trickle charger on. One cough of smoke and she started purring. God I love this thing! :cool2:

I test drove a new (1.0 hour on the meter) BX25D-1 yesterday and noticed that it took several feet to stop while moving forward. It didn't feel natural and seemed to take too long. However, once stopped, it did not creep.

In reverse, it stopped quick and smooth as expected. It was a night and day difference from my BX2350 that stops very abruptly in reverse.

It is probably important to note that it was approximately 35 degrees outside and the tractor warmed up at a low to mid idle for at least 5 minutes before I test drove it. I'm not sure how this may affect this issue...

My plan is to trade in the 2350 on the 25D and one of the reasons is to get a "normal" feeling HST.

Did you buy the one you test drove? Did you ask the dealer about the run on?
I t6o traded a BX2350 because of the abrupt stop in reverse a few months after I bought it.

I attribute the abrupt stop of the bx2350 to operator error!

Most ANY Kubota HST tractor will stop abruptly when reversing and returning to neutral quickly.

Sounds like some here don't have one tractor long enough to get familiar with it...
