great dl, now I can learn how to use it, some pictures I have named but this will be good from now on.

I find Picasa the only way to manage all of our photos, I think we have close to 6,000
Have you sorted out the multiple instances of photos now?
I find the editing tools that comes with the program really useful aswell.
MrJimi said:Not sorted yet, maybe tommorow, I getting a new copy of Google sketch it up now
6000 is lots of pictures
do I have multiples in my PC or just with Picassa
Grrrr said:I can't tell you how to get your phone to keep numbering them but I can give you a really easy way to get the computer to sort them out for you.
I started to write my own tutorial and then found this one :-
Rename a batch of photos all at once
If you put all our pictures in the same folder after you downloaded them, by starting the numbering each time with different names, then did this, you can have one continuous numbering system, for very little effort.
I noticed that and some of the files that I gave names to get changed to first choice, but I will use it for new DLrlk said:The thing I don't like about the program you site is that it renames the photographs and adds a (1), (2), etc. at the end. Why can't they do it without the () having to be there? I know this is a nit, but if you are into generating web pages, having the () in every file name is a pia.
