Picture of the first course of roof panels going on. They were low enough that we could get them up onto the roof with the job site forklift. And then screw them to the rafters and purlins with 10" screws. Panels are 5 1/2" of foam with 1/2" OSB on each side. Should provide pretty good insulation this winter.

Had to rent a crane for the rest of the roof panels because of the height. Here's the crane in action from a distance.

Second course of roof panels going on, with assistance of the crane. You'll notice how the outside edges have been routed out to accept a 2x6 for edge framing.

With this side of roof panels on, it's time to install the 2x6 edge framing. Also helps lock and align the adjacent panels on the gable end. Note the clever little work platform on the site fork lift.

Now that all the panels are on, it's time to tackle a few touch up tasks. One of the joist beams for the loft floor was cut incorrectly, so here it is being recut and the mortices finished off by hand.

bebster; Beautiful building. That has to be a dream come true. You guys even used fall arrest, and that's a good thing.

The tree on the lookout really shows your pride. It's well deserved /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Okay bebster, clue us in to the final exterior look. Vinyl? Wood? Masonary? Combination?

When you post them scenic from a distance pictures it takes my breath away.
