Card players here?

With the breadth of people on this site, I can’t help but be convinced that if enough were in a specific location, a wicked game of cards (Bridge, Euchre, Spades, Hearts.....) could be scrounged up.

I’ve gotta think that 80% or more know about Gaming Zone ... maybe so..maybe not...

Just pointing out, that there is a location where those here that are card/board players, you could get together on a live basis & interact whilst kicking each others hineys in a game /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.

I could even see getting a screen name that is “TBN_(insert TBN name)” so that you’d be easier to recognize. We could discuss the benefits of a GREEN table, or a BLUE table, ORANGE, RED table... The merits of “manual dealing”, verses “automatic (hst) dealing”.... We could have different colors on different teams... hmm..maybe not... as a yellow industrial owner, I'd be left out in cold... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Just an idle thought/comment/idea as many evenings when I’m reading TBN, I’m on zone playing Euchre at same time.

It would allow someone from California to “meet” with someone from Maine on a live basis & have fun playing cards.

If anyone here DOES play Euchre (specifically), or other, post your screen name, or let’s get a “TBN_username” name and deal em!

(seems to me, if tractor related people meet in a card game to talk tractors, my post here then becomes tractor related?)

Gosh ,it has been a long time since i even thought about playing cards. I used to play Euchre and pinochle all the time. We always played bid Euchre with a double deck and either double deck pinochle with 4 or 6 people. A couple of years ago i played some on yahoo and a little on the game zone. I used to love to play , but my wife doesn't so it's just a thing of the past now. I just stated collecting old video games to play. I've bought quite a few Genesis games off E-bay this last week. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I've never visited Gaming Zone. Mainly because I've never heard of it! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

My wife and I belong to a Euchre card club and a bridge card club. I may have to visit the Zone soon and see what it's all about. Although lately I've been having some trouble with my home computer, so I might have to wait until I get those problems resolved. And since I don't think I need to have cards showing up on my screen here at work, I might have to wait for a little bit before I get to make a visit. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Some play Euchre other places.. I've found the zone to be the best (for me).

Many very nice people, you get your morons...like anywhere.

Fair warning though... it can be (read IS) addicting.

They do NOT have bid euchre though. That's how I learned so straight E is a bit less exciting. I make up for that by being sometimes adventurous in my ordering up the bid... ie, loner without either bower in hand (and made those a couple times) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Give it a try, I think you will like it. If you get that far, I usually play in the 'Card table" room (that's its name) and my screen name there is typically "CoyteePrince".

On sometimes during day (depending on work lol) and on a lot at night (nightly?). Feel free to come, join my table as a watcher to refresh yourself, I always have people stopping in my games to watch, chat, tell me off... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I dont stand for rude people in my games, so if we get one, we'll either chase them out, or leave ourselves. Bottom line, I've been told by a lot of people, that they always enjoy my games, because everyone is always so nice & they have a good time (not to mention that we play for fun, but play HARD!! to win!!!, so the competition is good).

Met one lady that has a small buisness in her home making choclate goodies. She is the supplier for a couple companeis & university in her town... so I had her send me a sampler box. Gotta like contacts like that /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
