It does look very similar to Pronovost, although in looking at the Pronovost web site briefly I didn't see one exactly the same as the XB.
The build seems decently robust, certainly enough for my use. The cylinder is long enough that it will tilt the bed pretty steep, for good dumping/emptying. You can open the tail gate like a pickup, or trip the lever in front to open the bottom of the tail gate like a dump truck.
Of course, the heavier the load, the more work it takes to pump the lever of the hydraulic pump to raise the bed. It pumps in both direction, so the bed raises as you lift and push down the lever. It can take some pretty good effort to pump with a real heavy load.
As ishiboo mentions, the XB implements are pretty much an exact match in color to Kubota, and in my opinion are a pretty good match in general for the BX line. (I also have the box blade and tiller.) For the OP, the color might clash a bit with his JD...
