Well, it took a couple hours, but they're at max width now. I would have rather kept them where they were, but chain clearance trumps. They have to be 3" per side farther out. I have pics I can post tomorrow. Will also blow snow tomorrow before work, and that will test it out.

It's weird, cause my dad's 3710 has the same chains, and tires at the mid setting. He has a couple inches of clearance.

Aaah well. Stability, I guess.

I understand the benefits of swapping wheels left to right to change wheel track if the mounting hub is not centered on the wheel. Also maintaining direction of rotaton

Sorry hit send button by mistake

swapping wheels this way puts the valve stem inboard. Do you guys have an inner and outer valve stem? My tires are loaded with rimguard and I adjust the pressure depending if I have the backhoe mounted. This would be very difficult with the valve at 12 o'clock.

On mine, the valve stems are now outboard. hopefully it won't be a problem..........

Wider stance and easy access... Plus Plus.

With the tires mounted out you should have room to reach in from behind to access the valve stem with it above the fill line. It is just as safe from sticks and such on the inside as it is on the outside.

You will like the difference when you get out on some side hills shredding.

I suppose. I wish there was a middle ground where I could have a couple inches of clearance instead of 4.
I'll get used to it......

You took the centers off the rims to swap. Another option is to take the entire wheel off to swap. That might have given you the 2" in between setting you desire. Some combination of swapping rims and switching centers should come close to what you're trying to accomplish. Your owners manual should tell you the different ways to set up your wheels with the resulting dimensions.
