I tried that, my wife kicked me out of the kitchen & laundry room.
Not allowed to make beds either.
If you keep doing it poorly, eventually they'll just do it themselves.

I've been with my wife for almost 40 years. Once, she mowed the lawn. My back was out, and I was down for the count. I really appreciated it. I know she'd do it if I needed her to. And I do help with other chores if she asks. I cook about half of the meals these days. I did 5 of 7 for three years a while back. Helps I'm a good cook. I always help clean up after dinner, put the food away, help with dishes, etc... that way we get done faster and can go for a longer walk after dinner. It's kind of evolved to 'she has her stuff and I have mine' that we are responsible for, but both of us can and will do the other's stuff if needed. Works for us. :thumbsup:
