CK 25 HST - Are these Reviews Legitimate?

The cupholder is pretty good too. I added a cupholder to the dash of my bulldozer thinking it would be handy to hold my beverage. It took me one beverage using that cupholder to determine that the bubbles will be shaken out within 3 minutes and all sorts of needles and junk will be setting on the bottom of the beverage.

I narrowed my buying decision down to two tractors. The Kioti CK25 and Massey Ferguson MF1528 (replaced by MF1529). Both nice tractors. I finally bought the MF. It had better specs, more horsepower, and a smaller footprint for the type of use I was going to give it (2.5 Acres with lots of trees, stream, etc.). So far I have been very happy with the MF, although I don't have much time in the seat yet. I know there are brand specific biasis in everyone's choices, but you appear to be in the same spot I was in. If you have a MF dealer nearby you may want to expand your options.

For the less then 10% price increase over all,I'd step up to the CK30 if going HST.

I have a CK25 gear. Engine runs smooth, no vibration. Powerful enough for me, but then I don't use the PTO much (PHD only). For ground engagement work, it's weight and excellent hydraulics makes it one of the best choices. That's why I bought it over the other brands. Most brands are good. So, it's hard to go wrong. For dealers this is not the case.

I am new to this site, but have been reading your discussions for quite a while. Seems like most of you are happy with your Kioti Tractors. I am looking at a CK 25hst with a FEL, but am concerned about some reviews on other sites. From Kioti CK25 Review, Price, Information.

One thing you do need to watch on that site (and probably this one too) is that some of the manufacturers themselves post reviews posing as customers. You should not trust anything you read on the internet 100%. There is no substitute for having your butt in the seat and having your own gutt feeling about a tractor.

I've had a ck30 for a little over a year & 100 hrs and am still impressed with it. It is the same machine as the 25, except the motor. In the shopping phase I was looking at the ck25 and NH tc30. Both great machines for my intended uses but dealer tipped me over to Kioti. Plus the ck is a fresher design w/extras for the same money in my area. After many visits to the dealer, test driving every time, I ended up upgrading to the ck30 (amazing how that happens).

As far as engine shaking, running rough or unrefined, all I've got to say is B.S. Mine starts fine even down to -25*, runs smooth, good on petro, no smoke after warmed up, no more shaking/vibration than expected on any 3cyl desiel engine. More than enough power to do what I've had to get done.

FEL, I have a Woods 1012 on mine and it's bulletproof. As far as the KL loaders go, just make sure you get the new design as the others have mentioned.

Dashlights; more than adequate for night ops. They are not overbright, but that's a good thing to me, nothing worse than having lights shining in your face when trying to see forward in the dark.

Weight; I personally think it's a selling point for Kioti(for my uses). I needed stability and traction, it fits the bill. If you're in softer ground and intend to use in yard alot and ground engaging work is not your primary focus maybe a lighter tractor would be better.

All in all you have to test out the machines you're interested in and choose what fits you/your needs best. Dealer may play a bigger role than color of machine IMO, go with the one that meets your needs and will take care of you after the sale.

I sold my Century 2028 over the summer and am buying a CK 25 or 30 probably tomorrow. I've always liked the Kioti look and found no problems buying my "off" brand century a few years ago. My dealer only has the CK30 in HST or the CK25 in gear. I wanted the extra hp in the 30 for pulling my 6' box blade and 7'york rake. Do you think the 25 will be enough? Gravel, I also live in Hubbardston, are you clearing a lot on Brigham Rd?

If you can swing the extra dough, the 30HST is a beefy and flexible machine. Not anything wrong with the 25 gear but the HST is very nice for mowing and loader work. I think Kioti still has a deal for zero percent financing for 36 months too.

I second the Ck30 choice.. I have the Ck30hst , very tough machine, i use a 72 in boxblade with mine as well. Personally i think thats a little too much for the ck25.. Good luck with your purchase..
