I second the Ck30 choice.. I have the Ck30hst , very tough machine, i use a 72 in boxblade with mine as well. Personally i think thats a little too much for the ck25.. Good luck with your purchase..

That's what I'm worried about. Price still seems borderline to me though...$15,700 for ck30 STD with FEL and rear remotes for next years BH. From what I've gathered on these web sites, that seems like a price for HST?

My local dealer qouted me a price of 15450 for a hydro with FEL.

Is that the Sam's Club membership price?

The above quote, from "my outdoors", included rear remotes. The rear remotes are fairly pricey to add on, from what I recollect.

Ended up with the CK30 HST without remotes. They come with the backhoe setup anyway, so next season I'll grab that. I paid $16,125 with fel. I could have saved a few hundred if I traveled 2 hours north but this dealer is close and has good manors. I only had a chance to play around the driveway and I like it! I just have to get used to the HST foot and FEL joystick location. I kept hitting the brake lever because that is where my gas pedal was on the century. LOL. Thanks for the info.

I think you will end up paying a bit extra for the remotes when you get the BH. The least expensive way to run the BH is via a power beyond port and that, I believe, is standard. Not sure but a set of remotes costs about $350 or so.

Congrats on your CK. I've been busy and didn't see your earlier post. No, I'm doing my own little land clearing project behind my house on Streeter Rd. I need help dropping some rather large trees right now, 6 to be exact. I dropped the easy ones, these will take out the house or garage or the shed if they go the wrong way. Don't forget to post pics.

Good choice, you'll love it :)

Every time me and the " L'il Monsta' " go into the woods I'm happily surprised by it's strength and climbing ability.

Climbing ability, what the hey is he talking about?!?

Both climbing up tree trunks to knock the trees down and up steep inclines hauling a bucketfull of dirt in 4WD low. Nearly as good as the little JD dozer, I'm amazed by the ck30.

I believe a set of remotes is about 179.00. At least that's what they were a year ago. You could install them yourself.
