Any of the Japanese makes will be a step up in Quality. Massey 2850-60M, or Yanmar YT series will blow the TYM out the water in quality and quality control. Both will cost more. I’d trust a non Japanese Massey like the 2850E (still Japanese engine, but manufacturing outside of Japan) more than a TYM and AGCO will have parts. Kubota and John Deere R series are great but pricey. In all honesty, the only real step up in build quality I think is to get the equivalent Kubota which is a 4760 with cab and 1055 loader...and that is not $10k more...it's nearly double the price.
Of the Korean brands, I think Kioti does the best job stocking parts, although LS through CNH has a good supply of US parts (would have to cross shop but doable). LS seems to realize that QC and parts are very important and are making strides. TYM’s big issue right now is quality control and part supplying. Both can be fixed, but they seem to be secondary priorities for the company right now. Tractors cost more when companies have to stock parts for them.
