Concrete Forms

   / Concrete Forms #11
Why make it harder than it has to be. Any ol' shmoe can make a slab level if the forms are installed level & set at the right height. Using a transit & following a chalk line takes a higher level of skill altogether, & more time. Just makes no sense to me when it's so easy to have the forms sitting there at the right height to start with.

For starters I answered the question, CORRECTLY.

It is not that difficult and many times it is the fastest and easiest.

Many time we have a edge that goes from say 12' to 23' on the far end. To pour this we use a 24' wall form on edge. Much quicker and easier than trying to match forms to the tapered grade.

Any ol' shmoe can make a slab level if the forms are installed level & set at the right height.

You would think but has been proven to not be true.
