This goat was living on the mt. above our place for many yrs. I'd spot him a few times a yr. but he was very wily and could never get close. One Feb. he started coming down the mt. within a 100 yds.of the house in the evening.I went and stood behind a large tree just off the trail he'd made and waited. After an hr. or 2 he showed up and I got a no. of pics.but I was shivering and could hardly hold the camera still. Finally he got so close he heard the camera click and took off.

Took these over the last few years. The red and blue looking bugs are not "spider man" beetles like I would have guessed. But are predatory stink bugs, feasting on other plant eaters. I found these on the undersides of my fig trees.

Typical garden spider on a heavily dewy/drizzly day.

Next years seeds...

Yup, we seen a pregnant doe back in early spring. The other 4 deer with her darted off.

She waddled down the hill picking her steps very carefully like a pregnant women due any day with triplets.

We saw her this summer, and realized she had twins.

They've recently joined up with 7 other doe that are hanging out on my property.

Plus the 5 bucks we've been seeing.

I'm really curious how many points that 8 pointer is gonna have next year.

Hopefully you can also find the sheds. He looks to be a 2 1/2 yr old.

This is an 8 that made it through our hunting season. I'm also hoping it grows in length and mass. The other pic is a10 that grossed 136" shot this past Nov 2nd with ML. My PB so far I called him in rattling/grunting.

Yup, I'm gonna walk the back acreage before I start brush hogging and clearing again.

I would hate to hit a shed with the brush hog or find one with a tire on the tractor.
