Petty!

Also huge that many in one post. I haven't seen my PC download pictures that slowly in a long time.

Thanks, but nope! Just a hobby! (Although quite an expensive one, but aren't they all.) I use it as an excuse to get out and spend time in nature. I enjoy the gear/technical aspect of the hobby as well, but there's something to be said for just getting away from civilization on a regular basis!

Went for a walk around the neighborhood today. Got some bird pics. Robins eveyrwhere. Got a little stink-eye from that dove.
I've seen that banded song sparrow in my back yard a few times over the last month.

I've never seen a banded sparrow. Someone's been doing a study somewhere.

I've seen plenty of banded geese. Thousands of them.

Well you sure are good at it! Thanks for all the great pics you've been posting!

I'm actually kinda shocked at how many Canada geese are banded. Why didn't they just euthanize them when they had the chance?

One of the benefits of being able to shoot 20 frames/sec is that I can capture the key moment, like when this robin grabbed this bug with his tongue!
Who knew robins had tongues and could do that?!
Sorry for the poor quality. This was taken from about 40ft away and the camera grabbed focus on his shoulder.
