What's really amazing is that these guys put enough of fake adds out there that eventually they get somebody. Same thing with the fake phone calls demanding payment for something you owe on. Mostly it's seniors that get taken, but with these Craigslist ads, I wonder who falls for it?

Older friend of mine ( a tax accountant no less, wife an RN) nearly did. Called me one day "Wife is buying me a JD Gator for the farm". I was happy for him, asked where she was getting it. "Craig's List" (first warning sign). Asked if he had gone and driven it. "No....it's being shipped from XXXtown" (2nd warning....only 40 minute drive from here) I asked him to send me the ad.

He did....typical way under priced machine scam with a reply to a Gmail address, no phone number. I called him immediately....asked if she had sent the money yet. She was on the way to the bank to get a certified check to send. I got him stopped in time.

So yeah, it apparently DOES pay off for these clowns from time to time.

That's not the half of it. According to the text, that 2015 X500 has a loader and 83,000 hours.

3 years x 12 mo/yr x 30 days/mo x 24hrs/day = 26,000hrs. Not a math genius there, huh ?

If you wonder if it is real, ask to see it. Scam ads will always have some reason why you can't see it.
