LoL...Just curious...how many members of TBN have ever paid for anything (including eggs LoL...) with crypto...and what was it??...ever been paid for something with crypto..??
And please no more BS'ing...!

Since crypto is only exchanged based, it would be hard to have transactions. You knew that though, or will claim so.

If you would have said bitcoin, I would have said yes. Bitcoin uses the lightning network to process transactions.

Again...people are so confused on just the simple mechanics of it all...even ones that claim to know everything.

Here is a "service" that I provide to my community in which I get crypto as a form of payment: eggs. I have a small flock of chickens that we sell eggs to neighbors, friends, friends of friends, etc. Once word got out that you can buy my eggs using crypto, the flood gates opened! $6/dozen or $5/dozen if paying with crypto. I'd get a call or text from someone asking if they can use Bitcoin on the lightning network or (insert crypto type here) and they will be by in a few minutes, hours, tomorrow, whatever to pick them up. I'd send them my payment address, or let them scan the QR code on my phone, and I'd receive the payment almost instantly and have their eggs ready.

Your neighborhood is quite different than mine!! I doubt most people here have any idea what cryptocurrency is, let alone use it to buy everyday items like eggs. Your egg prices are about twice what the going rate is here, so either your neighbors have much deeper pockets than mine, or are at least not very thrifty.
Do you have a lot of high tech workers where you are? Personally, I don't see any advantage to cryptocurrency other than to save $1/dozen on already overpriced eggs.

I don't think I'd use the word "simple" to describe cryptocurrency. Sounds very complex and obtuse to me.

$5 per dozen is about the going rate around there parts for free range eggs. I haven't bought eggs in the store for a long time, but wouldn't be surprised if they were actually more expensive with todays inflation.

My city is a larger city, but out in the woods, people are the same "simple folk" as anywhere else I guess. Nothing extremely high tech. In my neck of the woods, we have a mix of people from young to old. But those who use crypto are probably under 50 years old. I say this because one neighbor whom I share a property line with, is about that old and uses crypto. He uses crypto only because I physically showed him how.

Many people don't see the advantages of using cryptocurrency, until they use it. And once that happens, you'll want to use it for everything. Least, that has been my experiences. Its like using a debit or credit card over using cash. Its convenient, secure, inexpensive, and fun! But I get it, cash is king.

I do! Its extremely simple!!
Do you know how your credit card works? Or do you simply swipe it and leave the store?

You don't need to be a cryptologist, technology wiz, young, or even smart to use crypto. Have you ever used Paypal or Venmo before? What about paying for something on Amazon or other internet service? No difference. You don't need to know all the "ins-and-outs" of how technology works to be able to use it. Most people cant explain how they are typing on a this forum that uses binary code, yet here we are!

You are just too funny...you have no clue how much I know about the topic other than what I've related...I've said from the onset of the other thread that anyone that does not use even mildly good English can't be taken seriously...!

Go look in the 'Medicare part D...' thread...in the same post you use "there" and "their" in the exact same context in two different sentences...
But we're supposed to think you can actually understand something like crypto??...LoL...!
