DC12 volt cigarette lighter socket placement

Hey folks
Has anybody ever added an DC 12 volt cigarette lighter socket on there GC series tractors . Just curious where the best placement would be ?
This should be a standard option in my mind , but I am thinking of things such as phone charging and plug in strobe lights for snow removal etc.

I installed a double socket on the flat spot right behind the seat, there is an extra key on power source wire on the side of the top link holder bracket. I just used a good quality lock and loop. I plug my phone in and put the phone in the cup holder.

Sounds like you got a good power source thats convenient for that location . I'll check it out and most likely go the same route .

If your looking at the back of the tractor, there will be a a little white wire taped with a single plug in, run your ground wire to a bolt near the wheel well )a foot away) and your all set. You can also mount it to the you rops using the same power source.

My 2018 GC1705 Has green and black wires , one male and one female end which appears to be spares . They were taped to the black plastic wire protector sheath which goes up into the right side ROP lights . One tests hot and the other is probably ground wire .
