hehe my inlaws moonshine is....
On a more serous note. it is a well known fact that the EU has MUCH better fuel standards, different polution stadards but each to their own. The reason we dont see more of the diesel cars around here is entrenched oil/auto syndicates.
DP is not peddleing his wares as the saying goes.... he is right part of the reason that several states are requireing b2 to be the "standard diesel" at the pump is to resolve the ulsd issue. at that strength it is mixed enough to not cause a gelling issue but in enough quantity to resolve many issues that the ulsd has. B100 is not a endall unfortunatly expecially due to the parifins. there is a company here that is working with the university to see about getting the wax out of the b100 and using it elsewhere in commerce. Per the study mentioned B2 "1) 2% REG SoyPower biodiesel
HFRR 221, 415 micron improvement." ulsd base had a HFRR score of 636.
adding some quality antigell/cetane booster additive would be about as good as one can get.
as for additives if you trust the "winter blend" to run your machinery here youll be looking down the bad side of goo city. i am not looking forward to -21 F this year.
