Difference Between CK, DK, and NX line ?

The DK SE does not come standard with telescoping arms and stabilizers, for the price that should have been standard and not an upgrade IMO. Any tractor that size should have it standard. There are very few standards on the DK SE no linked pedal, cruise etc. it is pretty basic lots of options to add though. The NX cab feels a lot more open and has more room, windows open etc.

Thank you Tiger, That's the kind of insight I was looking for withOUT contacting a dealer. If and when I decide to reach the Dealer, I want to have a foundation of info already. Sounds like the DKSE doesn't get you a whole lot without going the options route. It's puzzling that the website doesn't reflect the info you shared on the NX.

I wonder if you add up the cost of the options for the DKSE, like the stabilizers/arms, pedal links, cruise etc., how close it is to the equivalent standard NX cost. Maybe I'll check that out.

That is why i skipped the DK series completely when shopping. Started by looking at C3510HST. Wanted more loader height but DK w/HST not yet available at the time. Preliminary price quotes however put it right there with NX so didn't really consider DK.

Now that they are in the wild prices might be different than what i was quoted for DK SE HST. And cab in mix might be bigger separation between them.

And I think post above is incorrect. Regular DK does not come standard with telescoping 3pt arms and stabilizers. SE does.

Another note...with Kioti you can also choose some upgrades a la carte. You just want the telescoping 3pt parts but don't want to pay the whole SE upgrade price for just those....get a regular DK and then just pay a little more for that one upgrade.

Also NX has a few things you don't/can't get with a smaller frame even with SE. Might be features you couldn't care less about having like stall guard, pto cruise, auto pto, etc. but some features are NX specific. Sadly even a $5 plastic toolbox isn't among those on the NX though....

I really like my Kioti and really liked the other models of Kioti I looked at. My gripes are very trivial things....like lack of toolbox or pins to fold ROPS. However you will see a recurring theme with Kioti owners that their documentation is lacking. Their unclear website for example. Owners manual same way for not being world class to put it nicely. No electronic version owners manual from factory. That's why a trip to dealer....or just a phone call even....would really help you understand the differences because it does get confusing if you're going between CK, DK, NX and then throwing SE into mix on top of that. 5 variants all with slight feature differences is hard to keep straight. This comes with 2 remotes, that comes with one, this has wire spiral hydraulic line covers, that doesn't, this comes with no mirror, that comes with one or two, etc....all small (other than remotes), but hard to keep straight. I literally parked 4 machines side by side and just went from one to next to fully understand this vs that.

Small additional note....all had nice seats, but NX was noticeably more comfortable to me.

I think you got a great machine....and hey when you sat in that seat and it felt right.....that says it's meant to be.

For me, I am thinking about buying it for my son-in-law who is looking to purchase a home with small acreage. He's 6-4 and in need of something with a larger cab to fit his long legs. He's skinny but tall.
So, I'm kind of bidding time until he gets the house/land issue resolved. I plan on doing this as a surprise for him. This affords me time to do research.

What is "small acreage"? I have 7 and NX is way overkill for 99% of what I need a tractor for. I needed as close to 8' dump clearance on loader bucket as I could get so that unusual requirement on my shopping list put me in much larger frame sizes than I need for general tasks. CK3510HST with just the telescoping 3pt upgrades would be more than enough. I don't regret having the mass, power, stronger loader, better traction, more comfortable ride, all the NX extras (most of which go unused), but none are necessary most of the time.

Depending what "small acreage" means to you....an NX with loader and a 6' bush hog is a good 21' long so that's something to consider if mowing will be a task and there are lots of obstacles or tight spaces. Turns pretty tight for it's size, but still have several areas I'm spending lots of time doing little K turns or making a complete circle to catch one little strip. Still faster overall than my little tractor with 5' bush hog, but wasn't the dramatic difference in time I expected due to the additional time navigating tight spaces. A CK3510 with loader and 5' bush hog is probably closer to 17' overall length - 4' difference nothing in a wide open field, kind of a big deal going around sheds, gardens, landscaping, odd shaped parcel mowing patterns....just one more consideration to muddy it up for you

I recommend you take a drive out to Hoover's Tractor and check them out one day. You can compare print specs all day long but until you get on them and crawl around them, under them and top of them it's just paper specs. If he's going to need a cab then you're looking at the NX.

Good suggestion. There are a few dealers closer to me. However, Hoover probably has a bigger inventory. I'll have to check them out.

Thanks Threepoint. I personally like LS, but their larger cut with cab is just too small. As testified to by taller posters.

My hesitation with the CK is the drop in PTO hp. They have a 39 hp unit which I think would be fine, but, the PTO drops to 29. That's a big drop. I was hoping for a PTO of about 35 hp. Something strong enough to run some meaningful implements if desired.
