Do you guys think there be a noticeable difference in the mowing ability of a b2320 and a b2620 both using the 60" mmm on a long gradual slope. I mow about 4.5 acres. Would the three hp come into play here. I think the driveway work would be a wash as well, mostly grading with a box blade and some back blade work and carrying gravel back up the hill in a front end loader any thoughts? I don't really need a chipper, minimal brush hog if ever.

Blindfolded you'd never know the difference between either model if no one told while mowing and the other jobs you mention. I've owned/own both plus several other models of Bs and BXs. The B3200/B7800/B3300 get into a bit bigger tractor with a bit more HP but between B2320, B2620 and B2920 the PTO HP is about the only difference.

Thanks JOHNTHOMAS you're a heck of a resource.

The only time you would see a difference is in the mowing if you got into really heavy grass, the 29HP engine might not stall as bad. For ground engaging tasks, most CUT's run out of traction long before they run out of power, so you wont know which tractor you are on unless you see the numbers because they are all the same frame and engine size.

The tire size is different on those two units, so that might make some difference. The lift between the two FEL is not the same either, Can't give you the Loader numbers right off hand, but one is a 304, and the other is a 364, I believe.

The B2320 is smaller in length/width/tire size/weight, and the front loader is smaller and less capable. I know that model has it's place, but for the money I think the B2620 is the better option all around.

I'd only go B2920 if you need extra HP at the PTO, otherwise it's identical to the B2620. But both the B2620 and B2920 are bigger, heavier, and have more FEL capacity than the B2320 (look up the specs).

For driveway work, there's no question in my mind the B2620 would be better. You want as much beef and traction as you can get when hauling a box blade full of material.

Here is a link to the spec for the 2#20 tractors and shows the tire size 2320 is 9.5x16 and the 2620 is 11.2-16. The lift diference in loaders is 771lbs to 952lbs.

that being said, would be a little difference, but not that much between the 2620 or the 2920 though

I opted for the 2620 and have not regretted it! Figured I could save a few bucks for buying attachments. Also, I have read on this site that the 29 hp had a bit of a vibration issue. Something about the environmental system.

In the B series I've owned a B7800, B3200, B2320 and now a B2620. It is the worst of all that I've owned for vibrating/un smooth. It is so bad compared to the B2320 and all the BXs that I've owned that I went to Barlows and tried another B2620 to see if mine is different than their other new ones and it's not. I'm not saying shake you all over but there is an un smooth bit to the running of it so if B2920 is any worse, and I doubt it is, I'd not buy one for sure. Many people used to complain about the B3200 being bad for un smooth and it was at a certain high rev but I rarely ran mine at that high RPMs. This B2620 does get a bit smoother at certain RPMs but the B2320 was a bit smoother but it to wasn't smooth as the BXs. So, smooth is not a great feature of the B series and I wouldn't use that as a determining factor, just saying.:2cents:
I had a geared B2320 with no FEL which could have been a factor with the bit less vibration. My B2620 has FEL, HST and BH and all those features can also be factors. I traded to get rid of the GEARED B2320 which was my first and last geared Kubota and also traded in the BX25 sooo chose the B2620 above a B2320 mainly because I was adding the BH and thought I might need the tad bit more HP because of the BH.
The BX25 was my favorite Kubota because it was more versatile and usable for what I do. The Bs have higher ground clearance which is important to me occasionally now. If I ever trade again :D then it will probably be back to a BX25

I have a b2920, no vibration issues that i've ever seen or heard of. I've used the 2320 before too. The statements about running out of traction before hp are correct in most applications. The biggest benefit of the larger engine is most tasks can be done atvlower rpm, so less noise and fuel. The extra pto power is nice for a larger mower, generator or wood chipper. You can put the bigger loader on the b2320 if you want. Around here i did notice that used 2320's took much longer to sell than the two bigger models.
