This is a closeup of the right side with the pin inserted from inside
I know that the pins fit from the outside before ballast and that the tires are an 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" wider now. I hadn't realized that the video (same tractor as mine) was set so wide. For stability's sake it wouldn't hurt to widen the stance but I'm certainly not equipped to remount the wheels myself (especially with 550 to 600 extra lbs of ballast each). Is my best bet to get it back to the dealer?
This makes no sense. It is impossible that the tires grew to that degree. Did you watch the guy fill them?
Then I can only say that you had been inserting the pins angled in the opposite direction and the curvature of the tire on part toward the axle gave you room to make the installation from the outside. They were filled in my presence, on the tractor while jacked up.
