Wecome to TBN:welcome:
Zol, the whole NAPA # is 557088 in case you did not pick up on it earlier.
Ron
Don't think so; NAPA gold filters are 4 digits.
7088 is correct
OK, both numbers are on the box.
Ron
I think 557088 might be the Wix number.
Maybe a little cross-packaging from the factory?
After just over a year of ownership, the time for the 50-hour service for my BX25 finally arrived. (well, it was more like 51.4 hours... I put it to work yesterday...)
Some newby lessons learned:
- In spite of the warning about how much hydraulic fluid will come out when you remove the debris filter, I was so surprised by the gushing flow of fluid that I fumbled the rubber stopper, and spilled about over a quart of oil.Fortunately I bought a quart "just in case", so now I'm only down about a half a quart. Next time, I need TWO "spare" quarts of hydro fluid.
There were almost no metal shavings on the filter.
John, thanks for the awesome instructions and pics.............think I'll know what to look for now..........called my dealer and asked about getting the trans. oil/filter for the 300 Hr. change........he said just change the filter if the trans. oil is clear (which it is) and top off the oil....not sure what to do........don't mind spending the money for the extra oil for the complete change..........
