I poured 6" -- fiber reinforced -- for my JD 2305 with attachments -- 1450 lbs for the tractor.

tomd999-- Is that a Huffy mower? seems like I ran one of those when I was a kid... weighed more than I did, as I recall. Remember the weird wheel location.
Update on tractor quarters-- while priming & attaching plywood to the inside walls of my garage this fall, I got this idea.... Only temporary at this point, but the tractor now has some protection from precipitation. Seems to work very well.
Used the blower for the first time this year yesterday, moving a real soupy mix of 4" of snow followed by about an inch of rain. Slowed it down some, but it was still able to handle it- what a change from the ol' walk-behind! Lottsa ice, lost power for 8 hours. Sun peeked through for a few minutes.

My tractor stays inside. As much as these machines cost, it only makes sense to keep it looking nice.

My tractor sleeps in the cold but inside a temporary winter car shelter, took a while to find one that was high enough for the cab. Basically it's a large tent. It's a far cry from a heated garage but I have a construction propane heater that will rise temp inside to above freezing for monthly maintenance and I have access to my BIL's body shop for emergencies. Next summer I plan on modifying my existing heated garage to accommodate the tractor even though I am told that it's not a good idea to "thaw" the tractor every night in cold climes. Those who came up with this theory probably never tried to perform the simplest of task with both hands frozen.

My JD "sleeps" outside, but under a Shelter Logic Canopy from Northern Tool. After seeing how much my Kubota had deteriorated in 8 years, I decided the new JD needed some protection. Unfortunately, an actual garage (or even better, a shop/garage) is out of the question. The canopy has come through a couple of our SoCal storms unfazed.

Inside every night ... I won't even leave it 3 miles from home in a hay field. It cost me cash money and I want the best for it. Also, I just simply want it home ... nobody messes with it in the shed ...

Mowers sleep under a roof (barn like but with 2 sides open). The 2520 sleeps under my covered deck (just barely fits with ROPS down.). New 110 has nowhere and is fully exposed. I tried a Jeep cover, but the recent blizzard winds blew it off and it collected a lot of grease. So, that is not going to work. All the implements are exposed outside.
I plan a building as a first priority in the spring if I can decide on a suitable type and size. It sure would be nice to have everything inside.

i think i know where youre talking about. if its what i'm thinking of, VERY cool place! i had always wondered who lived there. the one i'm thinking of has a historical marker in front of it and a farm over to the side of it like you're going to Camden.
