Doesnt appear water witching nor finding a buried pipe with wires and a magnetic field would qualify as psychic, paranormal or supernatural. pretty sure they wouldnt pay. i had a college professor explain how the coat hangers worked. basic science. Do you understand how transformers pass power from the input coil to the output without being connected? same scientific principal, and the 3rd time its been explained in this thread.

Dont believe they would pay because i think its based on pos / neg charges. wonder if they believe in lightening and how it works?

Well, I am willing to keep an open mind, I think there are many many scientific principals that we don't understand, and many phenomena we cannot explain. I just don't understand why those of you that say you can do it, are not signing up. I say I cannot do it. I have tried many times.. perhaps I don't have the right frame of mind, perhaps I am not "charged" properly, for whatever reason, I can't find metal, I can't find water, I can't find anything of value. I have found some trouble over the years.

But I would sign up for a double blind test in a heartbeat if I though I could prevail. I know many things, I know that most people have no observational powers to speak of, I know that most people did not learn scientific method in school. I know that most people are the least reliable witness's when it comes to observing and relating what they observed. I know the human brain tries to make order out of anything it senses even when that order is a "falsehood". And I know that most people are "set in their ways" and even if shown beyond a shadow of a doubt the way they observe their world is false, and their conclusions are false, their minds will not be changed.

These are the lessons I have learned through the years.

I can do it with a commercial locator which is nothing more than a hand held thingy, no electronics. Found my septic lines perfectly. My neighbor works for the municipal authority and he had me hold a couple of wires of some sort and they crossed at his septic and water lines and I had no idea where they were..There's something to it in shallow depths anyway.

My well, I couldn't locate with the guy that came out when he had me try it. I said that, but all around me (within a quarter mile anyway) they are bone dry well wise no matter how many and how deep they drill. I have an endless supply. The dowsers work? Who knows but for less than $50 spent I really don't care. Coincidence/luck whatever, I'll take it. I'm personally agnostic to the whole thing.
