Looking into the new "DR" Power Grader used to smooth out gravel /Dirt country driveways. Does anyone have one and if so what do you think of it??

I looked at those last spring but I opted for a box blade once i seen the price of the DR. It just doesn't look like it would hold up to serious use. Maybe the occassional, behind an ATV kind of use but not for real work. And at that price i would want it to do real work.

It looks like it would be useful for someone who did not have a tractor. At the price, ($900, if I remember right), I would rather have a box blade and/or landscape rake.

I received mine last week, It worked real good on my 90 foot shop drive which is slag (from a local steel recycling plant) that I put in eight years ago.
It works as advertised, Appears very well made, I think you would have to try digging in a rock pit to break it. I have plans to rework the grounds at my church as soon as it stops raining. I am pulling it with my BX2200.
It is not a replacement for my boxblade or land scape rake yet, but it sure does a lot better job on driveways and open ground. I will let you know after the rain stops. It I had a plasma cutter maybe I could have built one
