That looks picture perfect to me, awesome job!

Looks awesome, though it makes my butt clench to think of the cost of all that concrete... My wife asked our concrete guy for a quote to do our 700' driveway when he poured the parking pad next to the garage, and he and I both exchanged amusing looks. I told him "I don't even want to know" and walked away....

It was expensive, paid $5 sq ft for the building foundations with footings and $3.75 sq ft for the drive way. This included grading, dig footings, sand, visqueen, rebar, wire, key ways, forming, pouring and finishing

Poured over 600 yards of concrete on this property so far

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. It looks like you are doing it right and creating an amazing place. Are you doing anything special for your entrance?

Those are very fair prices for all of that work, and it looks sharp as a tack.

Probably a brick column on each side with double wrought iron swing gates. Any suggestions?

Wow, it looks just as nice inside. That's a lot of storage space both inside and out. I like how you wrapped the driveway around the mature tree. Adds a lot to the project.

I'm not a fan of brick, but it is timeless and if your house is brick, you can't go wrong. I've been googling ideas for mine and I'm getting closer to having it figured out. I kind of like the really big, thick, rock columns on either side of the entrance. I was thinking two gates, but think that with a big enough column, I can support one massive gate instead.

Ya, around here that would ad 1k/yr on taxes easy... Might have to paint it green (or brown) for season so they cant see it flying over :D Trick a lot of people do here is do top 3/4 of the drive and leave it gravel from the road in a 100 feet or two. That way it is never finished so they can't tax ya until it is done hehehe...
