Started welding up the deck. Almost got it all welded and ran out of wire. Will pick some up tomorrow and finish up the welding and adding some bracing. Hopefully it will be ready for paint by the weekend.

Looks good. Like where you put the axle. Should lift with enough angle to dump anything.

This is a smaller unit I built. Has a larger one with hyd lift for a tractor but since sold. Have a couple of these and for around home it is great. You can see the pegs for the bed to sit on and when lifted with the bed off and the winch arm connected to the arch makes a good log getter.

I really like your design. I wanted to build a log arch for my dad and this would be a very good way of building it. Thanks for posting.

Not sure what your looking at selling but I think it is going to be very expensive to ship it to my neck if the woods.

Managed to get the cylinder all plumbed in today. Got a small leak on the down stroke but other than that it works great.

A little more done tonight. Hope to have it all done this weekend and maybe a coat of paint on it. Found out that the cylinder which has an aluminum body has a striped fitting. Need to take the cylinder apart and either add some material and re-tap or drill it out for the next size fitting.
