I agree.... a metal band saw works wonders for fabrication. Just not sure of all the cutting fluid making a mess. This is the reason I bought a Ellis saw. Couple this with a new Miller 252 and life is but a dream.
Building is always better than buying........ one gets exactly what you want.

The sides are done. I put 2" channel on the sides and built supports so I could add 2x12's to side for extra capacity.

Just need to build the tailgate and fix the leak in the hose.

Any update on your trailer, did you get the tailgate installed? Have you tried dumping it with a load?

I just have the fenders left to install. I am having issues with the ram and need to take it apart and check the seals. Hope to have the parts next week to finish up the ram.

It's a spring loaded pin. I cannot find another one so I have it in the middle of the tailgate right now. Once I find another one or something else that works I will change it. The wife wanted a load of mulch so I tacked it on.

Made a short video of the trailer in action. I just bought a pump for it so I can use it on the bike or the truck without having to use the tractor all the time.

I bought the ram used so I cannot tell you where it came from. The ram itself has developed some issues and is now going to be replaced by a new one. May go with a scissor lift instead.
