I got back out and made a little progress on the trailer.
I bolted the wood to the sides of the bed. Because of the sockets that I put in the top to receive bedside extensions in the future, I had to rout notches in the top rails all around in order to get the top rail to fit flush with the other boards.
I've missed the good weather, and so I'm probably going to have to take the sides and front off one at a time now and bring them inside to varnish. The bottom of the bed has a single coat on it. I'll probably leave that like it is for now and just plan to put a bunch of varnish on it again in the spring.
