A buddy is offering me these used pins, he has the same quantity I need. They’re 45mm, I need 1.750”. So these are 20 thousandths bigger .020”. He said use a metric hammer to install them into the standard bushings, lol. I can probably open the bushings up some. They’re 1 inch longer than the longer ones, and three inches longer than the shorter ones. Doesn’t sound like a problem.

That's really close in measurement. Worst case you could have a machine shop turn them down to 1.75" for you. And cut them to the length you need.

We went up today, checked if fluid was enough to start it. There’s a petcock that’s supposed to have fluid at least that high before starting, it did. I started it and checked transmission pressure gauge, it was in the green. I then drove it forward and reverse, doh! Maybe the gallon we added did the trick, but it took time.

We tried to magnetize the solenoid by pulling the trigger, nothing. Then we put the wire that’s supposed to bring power to the solenoid directly to the battery 24v, nothing. Then we also put the ground wire to the battery, it magnetized a little. My son said when he really squeezed the alligator clip lead to the ground wire, it magnetized stronger. We put the solenoid back together and tried it with the grapple hoses connected, it still moved the tilt cylinders. I used the really tiny gauge wires that came with the controller, now I’m thinking it needs thicker gauge to make the magnet work.

We put on the power cluster (brake air & master cylinder bolted together) and bled the brakes, they bled fine. Then one started leaking out of the drum while adjusting. Doh! Not sure what happened.

I bought 24v relays, but the snow came before I could do anything. It’ll have to wait.

Got a good deal on a 12’ snowplow, and plan on adapting it to the loader. It’s reversible, so the snow will go either left or right. Or you can make it perpendicular to the road, that’ll be necessary for abrupt uphill or downhill changes.
