Ever use your tractor for revenge?

Thanks for the education. I'm glad we don't have those Hoa's around here. I'm with the majority of you I think based on the comments.

JJ, man you look different in your new avatar!!!:D

Your lucky many HOA's won't allow you to have tractors, trucks, boats or RV's on your property. Many are totally unAmerican as they deny you the right to fly any flags even an American Flag.

I never used a tractor for revenge but used the plow on my truck years ago for some. I used to plow a friends business and would get stuck with the business across the street pushing a fair amount of their snow across the road to my friends curb.

I contacted the business more than once and even spoke to the business that was contracted to plow the business across the street, but of course, next snow fall there was a large pile of snow on the sidewalks again. Next snow storm I went to the business across the street made several passes pushing everything to the front glass doors, left and went on my way. I later came back and plowed my buddies place. Guess what no snow pushed onto his sidewalk.
The plowing contractor contacted me, I played innocent and said thanks for the idea. The said they were going to have me cited, I was never contacted by the PD.

I never used a tractor, but I did use an implement. When I was a teenager I allowed a "buddy" to change a car engine in my parents garage , with the assurances that he would swap the engine quickly and leave it spic and span. Of course he left it an oil stained mess and the old engine laying there, to boot, for weeks.

My dad had something he called a float with was a platform made of overlapped 2x12 boards that he used to smooth the garden after plowing and disking it. We rolled that engine onto the float and attached it to the back of a car, then towed it to this "buddy's" house. By making a sharp turn, we were able to send the engine rolling and tumbling right into the now former "buddy's" front yard. I'd have loved to have been there to hear him explain that to his parents. He never mentioned it to me, though our conversations were brief after that. ;)

I'm guessing Canada hasn't caught on to the joys of HOASS'es. I hope they don't.

UnAmerican is a polite way to put it. My neighborhood has the word 'Farms' in the name, and I've been nagged about storing my bush-hog, rear blade and PHD when I owned one out in plain view. Heaven forbid one uses small ag style equipment to maintain and improve a small acreage property. I was forced to construct a ~400 square foot corral for Bambi's toys to screen them from view.

Another time, my neighbors in our sub-division and a couple of nearby neighborhoods came together to keep commercial development out of the residential 'rural estate' zoned area we live in from coming in. We had yard signs saying something to the effect of "Protect our neighborhoods" with a website address on it. Sure enough my HOASS jumped our case for expressing political views.

I've been nagged about having the HOASS provided 90-gallon trash container visible from the street.

A past HOASS president uses 'El Jefe' (Spanish for 'The Boss') in his email address. That also happens to be Fidel Castro's nickname, so when I had a heated discussion with El Jefe one night I referred to him as Fidel Castro and the HOASS as nothing more than a bunch of Communists who want to control everything. He came unglued over my comments.

As you can see I never attended Dale Carnegie's course 'How to make friends and influence people.'

I keep hoping the housing and stock markets will improve soon so we can get out of this neighborhood.

I dunno, I think you'd fit in just fine around here!

For the record, if I was told I could not fly my countries flag I'd go all the way to the Supreme Court over it!!!

You could go all the way to the SC. It would be a lot cheaper and more gratifying just to say "Go F*** yourself."

Someone try and tell me I can't fly my flag...or any country's flag for that matter. LOL... yeah right.

I guess revenge is always tempting but it can also backfire on you.

Be careful, he may get a bigger tractor than yours and you could loose major seat time :(

He may also be jealous off your tractor and maybe this is IS revenge...

Good luck,
Max
