Do you really need 500 gigs of storage and unlimited bandwidth? I have been using the free account since 2004 with zero issues and I have a lot of photos there.

Awesome feeling getting the truck back in the road I know. I had a similar happy after dropping big tanks, replacing the shower heads, replacing the fuel selector and fuel lines and adding a Facet/Duralift pump.

I agree. I had approximately 700 pics on there. They can stick it.

Fortunately for me I never solely hosted there and only stored copies.

Bad part is now every thread on every website that had a pic posted which was stored on Photobucket now has a blank.

I sincerely hope this bankrupts Photobucket. Then others will think about it before pulling this ransom crap.

Do I need 500gig? No. But the only option that opens up the links to all the photos Ive shared here in the past 8 years will cost me $400. Wanna donate? Talk about a load of BS.

I am with you, but I had no idea until your post that they had done that. I have 14 years worth of photos on PB and my whole blog is now broken. No way I am giving them $400, I would have considered $100 but they can stick it now.

From here out, pictures will be loaded to this site for post on this site. As I said earlier, I can repost any specific pictures that one might want to see in detail. Just give me a post # to reference so I can figure out the relevant content.

Back on topic... no harm no foul, I'm as guilty as the rest, PB is garbage, etc...

Took the truck for a short test drive about a mile down the gravel road by our house, and alls well to this point... the AC even works! Just poked along, turbo rebuild instruction said keep it below 2000 RPM for first 50 miles, but as peppy as it feels, I'm gonna have a hard time restraining my right foot! Wife put it on the insurance today, but I gotta get tags and state inspection done to be highway legal. Maybe Wednesday... *grin*

Sweet, good job on. A project this detailed always makes me nervous when time to prove it works. Always wonder if I missed something. Too bad on the photo issue.
