So what bullet have you been loading so far ? At what ranges have you shot it ? Compensating for bullet drop in one of these is quite a big deal...

Thanks for the followup westcliff. I appreciate the additional info. Weighing the charges instead of measuring makes sense.

Now I can get back to finishing up the blind and planning a food plot for next season.

I got my scope mounted and have only been out once to get it sighted in. Right now I'm shooting .250 TC shockwaves with 100 grains of Blackhorn. I was getting 2" groups at 100 yards after sighting. I need to get back out now that I've got it sighted in and do some shooting at 150 yards to see how the bullet drop compares to the 150 mark on the scope. If I'm getting too much drop, I'll bump the powder up a bit.

Used swivel rockers from Craigslist are cheap and comfy. Lord knows how many deer I may have let walk past my blind simply because I fell asleep in the darn thing.
