For those considering purchasing a Mahindra tractor

No dog in this fight, but having made a few posts a while back and then this thread would not be a hit piece to me. Just my $0.01

Sounds like a dealer issue to me and bad dealers should be called out. He was more focused on the dealer this time, the problem last time. Not as much of a manufacturer's issue as I see this. For the price of tractors I think he is due a rant.

Sometimes even a delayed squawk will yield results. 3-4 years ago a thread was started by someone else concerning faulty pole sheds. I chimed in with my what I perceived as inadequate pole shed construction. The shed was 10 years old at the time. By that time I didn't have any recourse because I let it go so long, but lo and behold a company representative chimed in and said for anyone to call if there was a legitimate beef, so I called.

A week later an apologetic rep came out and a month later a crew of 4 came out with a pickup load of wood and some tin and window flashings and worked all day to get it right. That service hardly ever happens but it is the squeaky wheel that gets the grease, sad to say.

That's amazing. Glad they realized the problem and corrected it.

I paid my 258.00 for my fuel solenoid switch. I was told not under warranty. Not a lubercated part. If you got your's paid by Mahindra I would say that is a sign of good faith.

Diesel is an oil, therefore a lubricant and it goes through the solenoid, no?

At the one year mark for a new purchased Mahindra the problem ( of any kind not counting normal wear items ) should have been under warranty regardless. If a dealer can verify this please do.

From the posts I'm reading on the various threads about component failure and not being covered under warranty sounds like a bunch of bunk! I think the dealers you are dealing with are to lazy to submit warranty or they don't want to put the $ out for parts or labor and have to wait for reimbursement from Mahindra. This all lends back to dealing with the right dealership!

You got 12 months or 1500 hrs. Not covered under power train.

You got boned by your dealer if you fell under the warranty time frame. Has nothing to do a lubricated part.
