I've decided I will hold off on replacing this tire till time permits. I need this tractor for hauling firewood, and the season is fast approaching.
Found a nice surprise hiding in the bell housing up around the flywheel/clutch area. Little devils were busy!

My next thought was how the heck am I going to get back up in there to remove this stuff without splitting the tractor? The mechanical fingers worked pretty good, but there was still some stuff up higher in the cavity I couldn't reach. The starter was the only access I could think of.

It gave me a nice big hole to get my mechanical fingers down in as well as some compressed air. After break I will fire up the leaf blower and really get some cfm's in there to blow the last of the junk out.

More later.
